DAP educates and trains hearing service providers who engage with Deaf survivors in the community about how to become more Deaf-informed. We discuss Deaf culture, how to work with an interpreter and the “little” things that make a big difference when working with a Deaf survivor.
DAP also provides training to the Deaf community on domestic violence, how it looks, and how the community can help survivors.
